Manchester Public Schools
Manchester Public Schools are culturally diverse and welcoming school communities, built on inclusion and student experience. They thrive on experiential learning, where all of its students are introduced to a wide variety of skills sets applicable to the global society. Thus, their students are encouraged to foster and flourish their academic and developmental potentials to ensure a community where youth and families are supported. This is done through comprehensive team of teachers, counselors, and administrative staff. Change Collaborative (CCM) serves these school communities with evidenced-based prevention and awareness programming.
Vernon ROCKS Coalition
Vernon ROCKS Coalition, is one of CCM’s long-standing partners in the fight against substance abuse within local Connecticut towns. It is comprised of families, youth, eager volunteers, and community stakeholders who emphasize the prevention of drugs and alcohol. Vernon ROCKS Coalition is an effective partner who individualizes prevention strategies to targeted youth through protective factors and decreasing risk factors. Manchester Police Department
Manchester Police Department (MPD) is comprised of round-the-clock task force dedicated to serving its greater community, especially where the youth population is involved; attending events such as Shattered Dreams and educating about the risks associated with substance abuse during community events (e.g. Take Back Day — a day dedicated to proper and ethical disposal of prescription drugs).
