Our youth are siting back and relaxing after participating in the National Prevention Walk 2021. It was a wonderful afternoon to spend time outdoors, getting our exercise in, and walking for an important cause.

Advocacy.

Featured in this picture is our youth FACTS coalition attending the 2020 Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) Conference in Washington, D.C. for Capitol Hill Day; where they educated Congress about CCM’s positive impact on the Manchester community.

This is our prevention timeline video that highlights the achievements of the Manchester Change Collaborative throughout the years. Please take a moment to review our accomplishments and see all the work that is being done in our community. Our coalition and youth campaign appreciate all the support from the Town of Manchester and its residents—all which led us here!

Youth group launches alcohol awareness campaign

Inspired by Mr. Brillant’s wise words and encouragement, student youth group FACTS, launched a campaign of the same name — “Don’t Be The One We’re Talking About The Next Day — on Friday, October 19, 2018. The campaign engaged and educated youth, families, and local citizens about the negative effects and dangers of youth alcohol abuse within the community. Efforts included campaign images and informative research data that a 2017 study revealed (see images below).
